What does Domain Rating tell you?
Domain Rating is a quick way to measure a website’s link authority. It helps you answer questions like: is this site worth getting a link from? Is this competitor stronger than me? Is this expired domain worth buying? Instead of reading a full backlink report, you get one number you can compare across hundreds of sites.
How to read DR scores
We add a tier label to every result so you can read long lists faster:
| DR | Tier | What it usually means |
|---|---|---|
| 71–100 | Elite | Major brands, news sites, big platforms |
| 51–70 | Strong | Well-known niche authorities |
| 31–50 | Moderate | Established blogs and businesses |
| 11–30 | Low | Growing sites with some links |
| 0–10 | Very low | New or small sites |
What DR does not tell you
DR measures links, not quality. A site can have a high DR from old links and almost no traffic today. For outreach and buying decisions, always look at DR together with organic traffic, topical relevance and how the site looks. DR is the first filter, not the final answer.
