Compare competitors in one view
Paste your own domain along with your top competitors. Sort by DR and you immediately see where you stand. If the sites ranking above you all have a much higher DR, you know that links are a big part of the gap. If your DR is similar, the difference is more likely content, relevance or on-page SEO.
Size up a new niche
Before starting a new site, search your main keywords and paste the top 10–20 ranking domains into the checker. If most of them are DR 70+, the niche is dominated by big brands. If you see several sites in the DR 10–30 range ranking well, there is room for a newer site to compete.
Understanding the differences
Because DR is logarithmic, the gap between DR 20 and DR 40 is much smaller than the gap between DR 60 and DR 80. When you compare multiple websites, look at the tier labels as well as the raw numbers. Two sites in the same tier are usually in a similar league.
